A. To stop this action, enter the following command at the beginning of the batch file.

@echo off

To prevent just one command from outputting to the screen, enter @ in front of the command.

End of Article

This does not work in Windows XP when you are trying to access an entry in the registry that does not existing
I still get the following error displayed on the screen
Error: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value
