To create an Printers and Faxes shortcut on your desktop:

1. Open a CMD.EXE windows.

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D} /F

3. If the icon doesn't appear in a few seconds, left click a blank area of your desktop and press F5.
